Virtual counselling

Online counselling, anywhere in British Columbia

You shouldn't have to live in a big city — or drive across one — to get good therapy. Virtual counselling brings evidence-based OCD and anxiety support to wherever you are in BC, from the comfort of your own space.

I'm Kate Kemp, RSW. Whether you're in Kelowna, the Okanagan, or anywhere else in the province, we can work together over secure video.

This might sound familiar

  • You live outside Kelowna, or far from a specialist
  • A busy schedule makes in-person hard to commit to
  • You simply feel more at ease in your own space
  • You want OCD/anxiety-specific care that's hard to find locally

Just as effective

Research shows online therapy works as well as in-person for anxiety and OCD — including ERP.

Private & secure

Sessions run over a confidential, PIPEDA-aligned video platform. All you need is a quiet spot and a connection.

Same care, less friction

No commute, easier scheduling, and the same warm, evidence-based approach you'd get in the office.

How I can help

We'll do everything we would in person — understanding what's going on, building a plan, and practising skills — over secure video. For OCD, that includes ERP exposures designed for your real environment, which can actually make the work more effective.

Booking, reminders, and receipts are handled through a simple, private client portal, so the logistics stay out of your way.

Approaches I draw on

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)
  • EMDR & IFS
  • Mindfulness & nervous-system regulation
